Last Saturday I traveled to Pennsylvania to the Ligonier Highland Games to compete in the 27th Annual US National Gaelic Mòd.  "What is a Mòd?" you may ask.  A Mòd is a festival of Scottish Gaelic song, arts and culture.  It begins on Friday with competitions in Poetry, storytelling and sight reading.  Saturday is filled with song competitions--solo singing, duet/unison singing and choral singing.  I was honored to received the Gold Medal for Ladies Solo Singing.
